The old poker room has now been turned into yet another night club which is bang on trend for the Vegas of today. Gone are the days of the dedicated, quiet and sumptuous poker room a guy could call home for a few hours and maybe even win a few bucks. The poker room is now out on the casino floor squished in between the sports book and clanging slot machines. So much indulgent fun, great holiday, great hotel, amazing city. We did gamble a bit, our favourites were the poker machines at the bars and we even stayed up one night until 6 am in the morning having fun on one of the machines at the smaller central bar, ended up even and scored an unfinished bottle of bubbles left by another guest. All staff we met were friendly, we had the buffet one night too, great fun and almost worth the queue! The hotel is close to all the touristy spots and whilst there was an eccentric mix of guests everyone was polite, respectful and out for fun. Room was spotless and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in, it was like sleeping in a marshmallow, hmm luxurious. We tried to manually check in at the hotel but the machine rejected us, I am so glad it did as we got an up grade to a room over looking the strip and the Bellagio fountains, superb.
From the moment we arrived it was a mini break of wonder and fun. As a birthday treat my daughter and I we travelled to Vegas and stayed for 4 nights at Caesars Palace.
